The Lanao Foundation, Inc. (LFI) is a homegrown non-stock, non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission on November 15, 1990 with Registration No. 184470. LFI's main work ethos is full participation of the local people in the development process. LFI has established a record of accomplishment in pioneering development advocacy in the province of Lanao del Norte. LFI is working on sustainable resources management and grassroots organizing covering both Muslim and Christian communities. Our programs include agro-forestry development, soil and water conservation and management, micro-enterprise development, promotion of the culture of peace and grassroots organization building.
